Grid Party

Community rules

Grid Party is for everyone, including younger players, so the rule is simple: be kind.

When you play with others

Choose a name you'd be happy for anyone to see. No names, or anything else you share, that are hateful, sexual, threatening, or meant to upset someone.

How Grid Party helps

Only people with a game's private code can join it. Every copy of Grid Party checks the names it sees and swaps an offensive one for a random name. The host can remove a player, who then can't join that game again. In Settings, you can show other players by their initials only, and streamer mode hides room codes too.

Reporting a problem

Use Report a problem on the Players screen, or write to gridpartydev@googlegroups.com. Tell us what happened and roughly when. Grid Party keeps no record of who played, so the name that was shown is the most useful detail.

Puzzles

The puzzle sources Grid Party lists come from makers who have agreed to be included. Crosswords sometimes touch on grown-up subjects. Puzzles you add yourself are yours, and stay on your device.
